ALLTEC NETWORK (Formally Active Chemical Products Ltd), supply thousands of professional carpet and upholstery cleaning companies in the UK, from ‘start-ups’ - to international franchise companies. From our headquarters in North Hertfordshire, we have been manufacturing professional carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment and chemicals since 1992, but our history in the business goes back to the mid-eighties. In that time we have become one of the biggest names in the professional carpet cleaning market and are still expanding and bring our customers the most up-to-date equipment, chemicals and techniques.
The business was started by Managing Director Robert Saunders with his brother Stephen Saunders both of whom have been professional Carpet Cleaners for many years and understand what it is like for you as a beginner or struggling business.
They found that once they purchased their first equipment no one wanted to help or guide them when they started, so that’s why they put this ‘Start-up guide’ together - to help you in your chosen career. As well as their practical experience both of them have had articles published in trade magazines and have written for industry newsletters. They also wrote the training manual used by the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA), for many years, on their Beginners Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Course.
TRAINING
It is our belief that the only way forward in any industry is education. In 1997, in association with Steam Way International, they launched the first carpet cleaning and restoration school in the UK to be approved by Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
The IICRC is the only International and independent source of certification programs in the carpet and upholstery cleaning industry.
For many years they been the main sponsors (and hosts) of the NCCA nation-wide educational schools, workshops and seminars.
MACHINES
While some manufacturers may baffle you with technical information as to why their products are the best - at Active Chemical Products we simply state that all our ALLTECTM Portable machines are built to the highest specifications with the maximum of performance – We guarantee it!

CHEMICALS
The chemicals are so advanced that not only will they give you a professional finish every time - but they will save you money compared to our leading rivals products. For example we only have one main cleaning detergent the ULTIMATE MASTER. This all-in-one detergent is suitable for use on all wet cleanable carpets, rugs and upholstery fabrics. It contains strong stain removers and grease digesters - so it can be used as you pre-spray, for normal soiled carpets, straight from your machine and applied by the floor wand.
ULTIMATE MASTER is also self-neutralising, which eliminates the use of acid rinse products from most cleaning jobs - again this will save you both time and money. To prove how good and safe the product is we have had it independently tested by the International Research Council.
You will find that the rest of the chemicals work as well and they do what it says on the label – but, if for any reason you don’t think so give our technical department a ring and we will tell you if you are using them correctly or the best way to make them perform for you - if you’re still not happy all products are covered by our 100% money back guarantee.
