Description/Characteristics:
SOLUTION Nr.4, WOOL-CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANER is a highly effective universal cleaner concentrate that can be used with all cleaning systems. According to the relative dilution ratio (as per our cleaning pyramid) it can be used as a spot remover and cleaner, it removes heavy soil residues and traffic lanes. The chemical cleaning process is achieved by microsplitting the soil particles without the use of enzymes or detergents. SOLUTION WOOL-CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANER does not contain bleaching agents or optical brighteners. It is non-resoiling because it does not contain detergents, therefore,  it will not leave any sticky shampoo or detergent residues. Foam build-up can only be caused by shampoo or detergent residues that were not properly rinsed in prior cleanings. As long as detergent residues are remaining in the carpet or upholstery, resoiling and re-appearance of stains cannot be avoided. This effect, will, however, be reduced after several cleanings with SOLUTION Nr. 4 or after several rinsings with water. Anti-soiling and anti-spot equipments, for example Scotchgard®, Teflon® or Babygard® are not affected by SOLUTION Nr. 4, contrary to detergent-containing cleaners. The product may also be used in food processing areas, if applied in accordance with our instructions. SOLUTION Nr. 4 works immediately!! It does not require any set-up time. Dilute with water. SOLUTION Nr. 4 reacts until it is completely dry, which means in practice that the cleaning result may even improve until the cleaned surface is entirely dry. The small quantity of humidity necessary for cleaning reduces tremendously the drying time, which means an enormous advantage in time (for example for hotels/restaurants). SOLUTION Nr. 5 WOOL-SPOTTER has the same characteristics.
 
Application/Undergrounds:
It can be applied to all water and colourfast surfaces made of natural and synthetic fibres. Always pre-test carpet, fabric or surface to be treated in an inconspicuous area before proceeding.
 
Technical Data:

Consumption: approx. 50 ml/m² ready-to-use solution.
Storage: frostfree in closed original containers. Keep away from strong oxidation and reduction agents.

Cleaning Instructions:
Stain Removal: Dilute up to 1:3 with water, work with a soft brush or terry towel, rinse with water or use Nr. 5, wool-spotter.
Steam Extraction Cleaning: Dilute 1:8 – 1:16 with water, use as pre-spray, rinse with water only.
Bonnet Cleaning: Dilute 1:8 – 1:18 with water, use as pre-spray, pick up the dirt by pad-bonnet, as usual.
Powder Cleaning: Dilute 1:8 – 1:18,  use as pre-spray.
Shampoo/Water Extraction: Dilute 1:8 – 1:20. Combination cleaning. Use as pre-spray or tank additive. A soft shampoo brush has to be used, because no foam is produced. The subsequent rinsings should be made with water only. 
Upholstery Cleaning: Dilute 1:8 – 1:20 with water. Clean as usual by hand or using water extraction.

The chosen cleaning technologies, especially the mechanic, also influence the depth reaction of the cleaning process.
The stain removal spectrum is immense and includes aerosol soil residues in wall and door areas, grease, beverage stains, protein, dispersion paints, mustard, oil, ketchup, rust and much more. In case of stains which cause a fibre/colour reaction, for example coffee, urine, etc., the success of the spot removal may be limited. Glue residues, chewing gum, ballpoint ink, oily incrustations etc. should be treated in combination with ECO SPOT & STAIN REMOVER. If the combined stain removal method is applied, a subsequent cleaning should be made with SOLUTION Nr. 4, or SOLUTION Nr. 5. Set-up times are required only in case of heavy incrustations or layer buildings.

Use/Consumption: For carpet cleaning  SOLUTION Nr. 4  should be used only as pre-spray. In case of large areas, it may be advantageous to use an electrical spray apparatus. As normally no set-up times are required, the area achievement is much increased, enormous savings in time and material. If used as a pre-spray, it is possible to spray an area of 10 – 20 m² with one litre of ready-to-use solution. This means that with a dilution ratio of 1:10, 1000 – 2000 m² can be cleaned. It is also possible to work more concentrated. This increases the area achievement, as subsequent treatments can be minimised. Subsequent  treatments can also be reduced by spraying visible stains and soiling more intensively.

SOLUTION Nr. 4, WOOL-CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANER and SOLUTION Nr. 5, WOOL-SPOTTER are non combustible and do not contain dangerous products according to ChemG and GefStoffVO. No transport restrictions. Storage in closed containers, dry and frostfree. No MAK-value. The product is clear, smell-less and can be diluted with water. SOLUTION Nr. 4 and Nr. 5  are completely decomposable within the legal periods. Contents: water, watersoluble agents, phosphates (food quality). In case of direct contact with the product, protective gloves should be worn. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary.
